Not to an ebike with a Bosch motor. Can a throttle be added to this?
Guess I should have been more Clear :Comes with New 28 MPH Step Thru New CX Performance 20 MPH
Huh?
As a long time rider of eBikes with 28mph performance capability I would say that while that bike, given it has the correct motor series certified by Bosch, might reach 28mph on level ground with a tailwind it won't do it for long as the volts will disappear really fast on an upright style bike especially factoring the air resistance. Also the fact that what looks like a 46t chainring at best mated to an 11t rear cog you will be at the outer edge of the gear ratio optimum efficiency.
The Trek Alliant +7S or Men's Sport will be available with Both The NEW Bosch Performance Speed, 75 Nm, 28 mph / 45 kph and the New Performance line CX The Trek Alliant +7 Step Thru will be available with just the New CX |
I have spoken with 3 different people at Trek on the Phone and 2 Thru the Online Chat Option : All 5 told be the same thing |
I spoke with 5 different people at Trek USA . I am in the United States : All 5 people told me the Step over Alliant +7S Will be available with a Class 3 Option as Well as Class 1 . Which is the Same as the Alliant 8S is available inTrek mentions the 2020 Allant+ 7 in its Polish website and clearly states it is a Class 1 bike. Are you sure it is a Class 3 bike @Rick53?

Not from Trek:Can a throttle be added to this?
Because I didn't have a Picture of the New Performance Speed Motor So I just Posted the CX . Both Motors is what I was Told. Same as Alliant 8 has :How could it be a Class 3 e-bike if the motor is not Bosch Performance Speed?
Great song! Not to an ebike with a Bosch motor.
If you have the right guide you could tap holes to mount a rack easily : I did it on a Bike a few times : You can make a template : But you have to tap the Holes : LBS could easily do itAnxious to see it here. If the step through is the same as on UK site, my wife may get it. Hopefully will have a real rack and not the useless one the US models have if you want to use a trunk bag.
