Tire pressure

Newbie here to the forum and got my XP today. What's recc. tire pressure for most comfortable ride on asphalt?

Congrats on the XP! It’s a great bike and a lot of fun!

If the road is in good condition and fairly smooth I’d keep it at 25 to 30psi. I keep my tires at 25psi and ride mostly asphalt in fairly good condition. A bit of gravel too and 25 is good for that. If you’re going to be spending more time on rougher surfaces with rocks, bumpy sod, snow or sand you can lower it down to 15 to 20 which will give you a more cushioned ride and better traction on snow/sand. But on good pavement go higher for better mileage.

Enjoy the ride!

Try that, but don't be shy about trying 5psi either side of that to see how you like it.....

I live on a gravel road. Like an unpaved rail trail. About half of my biking is unpaved. I found 14 front, 16 rear is a good compromise.
