In NJ, with our roadway shoulders as cracked, frost-heaved and pot holed as the actual roadway itself, I can't see it. That's kinda what did in the popularity of those Razor Scooters back in the 90's; folks doing end overs and breaking bones once that small front wheel trips into a manhole drain grate or pot hole. And over on the bike and rail trails, alot of people successfully lobbied for the rights of ebikers (not scooters) to use these trails as their fellow cyclists do. So this thing is pigeon holed into a narrow segment of where it can ride, but that won't stop some person from zipping past people at 30 plus on some MUP on this thing and so, ebikers are put under fire once again.....
