Thank you for allowing me to join. I am new to the whole E-Bike movement. I am an explore I live in NH and like to explore new areas. I metal detect and saw a gentleman on an e-bike at an event in Chazy NY last fall. I started to research the bike and I can tell you the prices are a little crazy. I wanted to buy new and the wife was not for it . I did fine a M2S All Terraine FS in Green for a decent price It has 755 miles . Things I don't know is the age the original owners wife wasn't sure . Its not in bad shape it has some scrapes but hey its used . Any help on this model would be great

Thanks Again
Al

Welcome to the site.
M2s has 33 posts today on the "known problems & solutions" thread. Not a lot but their market share is pretty small. Be aware as a 2nd owner, the company doesn't even have to answer the phone for you. No warrenty. But no brand is perfect. Even huge vendors trek, specialized, giant, pedego, have shipped some problems that were complained about.
Be aware also , used electric bicycles tend to concentrate the dogs and mistakes on the second owner. Some units have flaky problems that can't be resolved. If the first owner can get the bike to work for a 10 mile test ride without failure, he wins when you buy it. OTOH some people just bought the wrong size or shape of bike, hate the hobby, hate the features of what they bought, or need cash now. Be sure you get a charger that plugs into the battery. Stolen bikes come without a charger, usually. Its all up to you. There are decent new direct to consumer bikes with short lists of known problems for $1800 or less. The brand forum below is a powerful database of mistakes and bad treatment. OTOH small market share bikes, maybe the disgruntled owners just didn't find this website. Best of luck to you.

It’s all about the price. If you like the bike and are ok with the price, go for it! You’re gonna have a blast. 🚴🏾‍♂️😊
Keep in mind it’s your first ebike and like many of us (myself included!) you might find yourself wanting another better one.
Many fun miles to you.

I’d only buy used when the price reflects zero dollars for the battery and the components were easily identified and have a parts stream. $500-$800 off just for the battery. And more more than half the DEALER cost minus the battery. See pedaluma and others. If you have a decent bike that fitsxsnd you like consider his lead and kit. You’ll ge better off than with someone else’s mistake and potential abuse. AND with a small tool investment you can learn to maintain, many come here to learn and do just that. You’ll be the LBS with used ebike anyway.
