Street tires?

My Xduro will spend 1/2 it's life on paved bike trails. Not seeing any wide street tires in 27.5"
Guessing more nibs to get as much rubber contact as possible on road, but I'm sure some of the cross tires are decent?
Recommendations?

Schwalbe came up with a tire that is specifically made for road in 650B size.
Some of the high-end Focus bikes (Thron Speed) have them. Schwalbe Supermoto X in 27.5" size.

If your chain stay has enough clearance, this is the best tire for 27.5" size.

Your right Ravi do you have enough room. I wanted so bad to put them on my new EVO 27.5 the rear would fit but I
measured for hours and with the help from very nice people at Schwalbe (and exact dimensions ),it would rub on the fork cross
brace. But these are down scale Suntour forks.

Width of tire at widest point (outer casing sidewall): 61mm +/- 2mm
Height of tire from top of rim sidewall/lip: 58.25mm +/- 1.5mm

Is the +- for manufacturing variances or inflation? Airing down?
Able to remove any material from the crossbar where it rubs? Couple minutes with a dremel often works wonders.

You can put a Super Moto X (2.4") in the rear and Big Ben 650B (2.0") in the front. Visual wise they both look very similar, Super Moto X looks like beefed up Big Ben.

Ravi that would have been the best combination by far but I ordered two big bens 50x584(27.5x2.00)
this afternoon oh well. Green Guard protection in the Super Moto X would be nice.

big bens are great tires. You'll be happy. I'm tempted to just get them myself. 2.0 is plenty wide for street.

Very happy @MLB. Just got my Big Bens today and put them on this afternoon .OH MY what a difference. I put 60psi in them to try out, they
are so smooth a great ride and they coast forever. It is like I just got a different bike.(that was my first time removing the rear wheel, that was not fun).
I love my Evo by the way.

I've got BBens on my Stromer and Big Apples on my trike. Love fatties!! Ordered supermoto x's to see the difference if any.

Got em yesterday (shipped from Eng). Hope to get them on today, if I dont' ride all day instead.

Got em on and I like them a lot. They are really thick through the center of the tread. Roll very well. Handling even better.

OHM uses Schwalbe Big Bens and Super Moto on the Urban line-- I have the Big Ben and love them. 27.5 x 2
