Storing your ST1 for the winter battery?

Any advice on keeping the battery in good condition over the winter?

The manufacturer recommends charging every two months. I charge mine every month and it takes about 45 minutes.

I've read several times that you do not want to store a Ltih Ion battery at full capacity, more like 60 - 70% - even the alternate 2 month charge should not be taken to full.

I have not read this. Perhaps it would be better to charge to the 80% level. On my charger 80% is reached when the light changes from amber to flashing green.

Stromer posts on their website their recommendations for their Samsung cells and they recommend top offs and that the battery has no memory.To Shea's point there are a lot of opinions, but if I am wanting a manufacturer to stand behind the warranty then I will follow it.
