A low price base model that when the important options were added the value wasn't that great. I tend to think that unless you design the bike to have a robust performance suspension you're better off not having a suspension on the bike and Stark went with a low cost suspension mainly for marketing reasons. Sadly this is common in the industry. Folding bikes do have an appeal to some people but for most riders they just don't make sense as the foot print of the bike isn't really reduced so much as it it reconfigured. I think anyone planning to commute more than a couple miles frequently should but a good quality eBike. There are some good eBike in the $1,500-$2,500 price range so they will pay for themselves fairly quickly via savings vs driving a car.
