Nice job by Greg or whoever made the China trip.

Any constructive comments, pls list below.. If you're in the FB group leave comments there.

1. Audio is lacking in places
2. Nothing about installing the handlebars.
3. Didn't trim and finish the front brake cable that was mentioned earlier in the vid.

Watched the entire video. My impression is that this bike seems way under-engineered. Just the way they implemented turning the bike on/off is a no go for me.

Constructive means to render a useful purpose. If my opinion has caused others to pause and reflect or to learn more about the bike then my comments are definitely constructive. Opinions, good or bad, help us to render judgement. Given the state of ebike development, my opinion from watching the video, is that this bike is probably a substandard design when compared with what is considered current ebike engineering. Again, IMHO, from my brief observation the engineering priority for this bike is to hit a price point.

In the end I actually like what they have tried to do with the lunch box. It does fall short though, but I actually appreciate the effort after watching the video more than I thought I would (considered it a bit of a joke before really).

86 is right about the power button, it they had integrated a rubber toggle on that port that could move the internal switch it would have been spot on - I am sure someone will fabricate something for it before long. I think a regular light switch integrated as a toggle extension might be perfect. As it is we'll just see a bunch of lost caps!

I would probably also charge with the case side open rather than fiddle, again, with the cap.

I really like the blue frame option, did that sell well?

Last thought is, limited ways to lock this bike up with most of the frame lines with the box, definitely a negative there, you're confined to the rear outer triangles.

Regarding the video, it seems it was shot with the idea to break it into segments - they need to do that asap so people can view the sections they need and skip the common knowledge stuff.

You're right, this thing really is the Walmart ebike (substandard, made to hit a price point, Walmart to a T). Honestly surprised Walmart didn't do it first actually.

This bike is going to thrive if it gets it to all the backers. People like buying cheap and building up. Over at mtbr the Mongoose dolomite fat bike thread is one of the biggest, longest running in the fat forum. People live buying it and making it their own. Same thing will happen here if this bike gets into everyone's hands; it will end up being a huge diy platform.

I give the video a grade of D+. If graded on a curve taking all mfg. into account it would be a B-. It's missing critical information about the bars, cable adjustment, brakes and tire inflation.

I also think they are foolish to show wrenching on the bike. Had I made the video I would have shown the fastener placement and stated; "torque axle nut to 20 Nm with a calibrated torque wrench." Not giving torque values and stressing their importance. is a mistake. With an instructional video it comes down to doing it right and complete, or not doing a video at all. If this is the final version, it should not have been done at all because it opens the bike/video maker up to liability.

Hello all you NEW Sondors FAT BIKE OWNERS! Heads up; Court just got his new Sondors bike and really wants to know details about the condition and operation of your bike. He's just starting THE Review and wants info from actual owners.

Here's what he sent me: "Would you mind asking folks who ordered and have received Sondors bikes if they have had any issues? I'll be working on the official review soon and would love community feedback about scratches, assembly issues, battery issues etc. My frame came scratched and I'd just like to get a feel for how people are faring and whether they are getting the expected range etc. so I can reference that in my video.
