A few scrapes and scratches, etc. This was my daily commuter.

Bike includes numerous upgrades:
Upgraded to a 10 speed, with a Shadow Plus derailleur, and a narrow-wide front chainring.
Busch and Mueller IQ-X headlight
Ergon grips
Extended the bike rack with steel bar to eliminate pannier heel strikes.
An extra 52-volt large format battery.

Including both chargers.

Before the drivetrain upgrades I was experiencing chain drops, which are eliminated now.

Why I’m selling:
The bike handles beautifully, and if it wasn’t for the batteries tending to lose electrical contact and dropping power, I wouldn’t be selling it. I contacted Juiced, and they claim the CCS isn’t compatible with the large format batteries, even though it previously was a purchase option with the bike, and I did indeed order the CCS with a 48-volt large format battery. So, between the power drop outs and Juice Bikes’ response on the matter, I’m switching to a more reliable bike.

Suggest you search the Juiced forum here on the subject and decide if this is something you want to tinker with. Since I bike to work daily in DC traffic, I really want to avoid the bike randomly shutting off.

Asking $1k OBO, to someone in the DC area.

Thanks for reading.

Wow I whish I had seen this before it sold...those batteries are worth what you are asking for everything! What kind of speed were you able to obtain with that set up. I have the 48 volt 16 ah version for the M2S R750 bike and it has been flawless...I just wanna go faster!

The CCS is no doubt a fast bike. I’d imagine the CCX a little better still. I’m not terribly fit, though do commute to work daily. I could easily sustain mid 20s and get up to speed quickly. I think I was able to top out a hair below 30, but it took a bit more effort to stay there.

Since I posted this, the battery terminals (especially on the 48v battery, since I wanted to avoid damaging the 52v) arched and melted more. Juiced did end up accepting both for replacement. But my neighbor now owns the bike and I switched to a (used) suppercommuter+ 8s, which handles a little better, if a little slower on straights.

Good to know. I almost bought the 52 volt version of the 48 volt battery from an alibaba vendor and after consulting juiced as they offer both, they informed me the batteries are NOT interchangable so I cancelled the orde....they did finally agree to canx the order but it was a battle. The 52 volt 16 ah battery was only going to be just over 400 dollars when M2S wanted $800 for a 48 volt 20 AH battery it was a no brainer as long as they put decent cells in it. My original battery is a 48 volt 16 ah battery and now will ballance charge out at 56.0 volts after 2500 miles or about 100 charge cycles almost all going to 100% charge it was 56.6 volts max charg when new. So starting to see some degridation.....a .6 volt drop over 100 charges is not bad.I can temporarily get it to 56.4 or so if I rapid charge for a few minutes right before I leave before it starts to do its balance charging.
