Hello. I’m wondering if anyone owns or has experience with the Schwann 26” E- Mendocino bike. It is a cruiser style. I can’t seem to find any reviews or anything.
Thanks in advance!

This looks like one of the 2nd gen Schwinn ebikes Pacific Cycle, who bought the Schwinn brand, have been selling through Walmart and Dicks Sporting Goods. This one looks like it has a 250w 36v Bafang rear hub motor, with a 12-magnet cadence pedal assist sensor, same as in the Schwinn Monroe single speed reviewed here on EBR. It’s likely a variant of this motor with 30-32nm torque so very gentle assist albeit adequate for cruising on a flat bike path. If you like this cruiser style I strongly recommend you test ride an Electra Townie Go! 7D from a Trek or REI store. That bike is also a cruiser with a 36v hub motor, and manual disk brakes, but it has a more responsive torque pedal assist sensor, the Hydrive branded motor is slightly more powerful with 40nm torque according to the specs page in the manual, and it is $200 cheaper, and less if buy from REI as a Co-Op member because of the 10% annual dividend.
