I searched the forum for this, but didn't see it discussed previously. Perhaps I missed it.
I ordered the Ecotric foldable 500W fat tire bike (FAT20810) over the weekend through Amazon, but got spooked by a review on "Bikeride". This was going to be an affordable extra ebike for others in the family to enjoy, but I cancelled the order.
They actually gave the bike a fairly positive review. None of half dozen negatives scared me away, except this kicker: "Users found that the front wheel is prone to locking up, causing unexpected crashes...This bike is affordable, but due to the wheel lock up issues noted by users may not be the safest option."
Ya think??? I already launched myself off a bike once this year. I don't relish a repeat performance for myself or anyone else close to me. Has anyone here experienced this little defect?
