Considering these or similar design and price for my first ebike but live in Florida where corrosion is a big problem, as a steel handlebar lasts about one year. Please share your experience
Not much of rust issue living in the southwest after 2 years and +5000 miles between my two radrovers. It is usually chips/dings exposing the metal from mostly trail riding. I purchase Brite-Mark Med Tip Paint in black and white to cover any exposed metal from normal dings. I also purchased the Xpower A-2 Electric blower to dry my ebike after a rain or wash. It does an excellent job and has plenty of air power for removing hidden moisture from gears, chain, slap guard, crack/corners/holes, spoke area near rims, and brake calipers when the ebike gets wet.
I also use the blower to remove extra solvent from the chain and gears after cleaning before lubing the chain. It does a pretty good job blowing out hidden solvent before applying wax based lube.
