Rerouting headlight wiring

The light on my Cube Exc Hybrid is a Busch&Müller Lumotec Lyt B mounted on the bridge of the front shocks. It is integrated and switched with the Bosch Display. I would like to relocate the light to a bracket on the Bosch display handlebar mount (a more stable, suspended location). I have ordered the replacement lower bracket clamp that has extensions to mount this light. However the wiring runs through the fork and will need to be disconnected at one end or the other to allow it to run clear to the light in the higher position.

The headlight wire comes out of the light which does not look to be easily dismantled and disappears into the top of the down tube.

Does any one know where the headlight wire is attached to the Bosch system where it can be removed, rerouted and reconnected? If so what will need to be followed in order to complete this modification? The wire appears to head down the tube toward the motor, which looks like it will have to be removed in order to cleanly access the wire. I hate to cut and splice the wire but the project looks rather daunting otherwise.

Not wanting to randomly start taking things apart without knowing where to go in advance. Any advise or directions would be appreciated

Also, I have brand new Supernova M99 Pure+ (1100 lumens) in a box which I am willing to let go (if you are interested).
You can watch the installation video here.

The simplest solution would be to solder the new light into the existing cable.
That's exactly what I did.

On my Haibike, the light was near the bottom of the steerer tube crown and it was re-wired back into the handlebar position.
