Radwagon rear flat

Got my first rear flat on the Radwagon after a few years of riding. I carry a socket wrench along with my repair kit and extra tubes just in case. It turned out to be a pinched flat probably from one of the tree roots I bumped into on the trail.

Getting the wheel off was pretty easy once I disconnected the cable from the hub. I replaced the tube, put the torque spacers back , installed the wheel, and re-centered my rear hydraulics. It was a lot easier that I thought. With the exception of the cable, it wasn't any harder than replacing a tube on a regular bike.

Oh, I also loosen the bolts on the screen display so I could rotate it out of the way when I flipped over the bike.

Thanks for posting your experience! Far too much anxiety for some over flat repair. My experience (different ebikes) is similar to yours; no big deal.

I agree. I guess there are people who don't know or care how a wrench works or are afraid they won't remember how things came apart when they try to put them back together. I'm sure there are other reasons... And I get it: who wants to have to deal with a flat?

Maybe the truth is different for different people, but to me, the truth is if you ride a bike you're almost certain to have a flat at some point. Learning how to fix a flat probably isn't as hard as learning to ride a bike.
