Rad Runner tires and gear ability

Hello, I have some technical questions about the RadRunner, I sent the request to the sales department but no clear answer...Is it is possible to mount tires with size 20" X 4.0" instead of the original 20” x 3.3” tires? (I've seen a lot of posts on inner tube but not really saying if a 20" X 4.0" tire will fit on the rim of the RadRunner). Second question: as this bike is a single speed, I would like to know if it is possible to add a 7 speeds cassette and rear derailleur to it? (I know the limited edition RadRunner Plus has a 7 speed set up but it's not available anymore). Thanks

I cannot imagine any reason the .7" would matter, but will keep my eyes open for more discussion. I just received a new front wheel/hub motor combo, which I intend to mount in front of my Rad Runner for "front wheel drive assist" for beach riding in soft sand, and I need to buy a tire for it! I would look hard for inner tubes if i were you, because they were in very short supply a few weeks ago. I was lucky to find a few...

Regarding the 7 speed modification, See my recent post in this forum. There is a side discussion in this issue. I at first thought it may be a bit silly to do this, but others reminded me that many riders prefer to have the ability to pedal the bike a lot, in different conditions, and 7 gears will be great for that. I don't pedal that much, so it is less important to me. When I mounted my new true 750w Bafang motor, the old gear would not fit, so I installed a 7 gear cassette (that came with the motor). Apparently all I need to do is get a cable, selector and derailleur in order to have gear shift ability! I am going to have a VERY crowded handlebar! See photos in my next post...
