Quick Survey - Seeking Opinions from MTB Enthusiasts!

Hi all,

I am a student from Wharton business school and am part of a team conducting a research project on (electric) mountain bikes. We are looking for some trustworthy opinions on eMTBs and are hoping to find some enthusiasts on this forum, particularly (but not limited to) those who reside in the UK. It would be of immense help if forum members could take 5-7 mins to fill out the survey below and contribute to our research.

As a token of our appreciation to respondents (and as an incentive to potential respondents), our team has stretched our funding to secure three iPads (w/ Wi‑Fi, 32 GB, 9.7”, Space Grey), which we will send to three respondents based on a prize draw at the end of our project. Hi, I have a thriving facebook group called eMTB Smile, which is where I saw that one of our members had posted this survey, and I am really keen to support this eMTB survey... however, it asks me questions about brands which I cannot possibly answer as I have only ridden the Haibike brand???

Hi, I have a thriving facebook group called eMTB Smile, which is where I saw that one of our members had posted this survey, and I am really keen to support this eMTB survey... however, it asks me questions about brands which I cannot possibly answer as I have only ridden the Haibike brand???

Hi Jay, yes I think one of my other team members posted the survey on your group - we really appreciate your support with this! Regarding the survey questions, please answer the questions to the best of your ability based on your knowledge of each brand (whether it is from personal experience, what you've heard from friends, seen online, etc.).

Thank you to those who have participated! Up to now, we have received about 100 responses. Our hope is to get up to 250 participants in total by the end of this week. We are planning to run some statistical regressions which require sample size per brand of > 100 per brand. Thanks again in advance for everyone's time!

I have just posted the survey again in the thriving "eMTB Smile" facebook group, so hopefully you will get more people for the survey. Also I have created a Document in the groups Files section called "Motor & Battery Issues with eMTBs", where we are collating the issues members have experienced and how they have been dealt with by the different brands. In addition to this there is an ongoing issue of late delivery of Haibikes, some members are still waiting for the 2017 bikes with the awareness that the Haibike 2018 models will be announced in just a couple of months!!!!!! Hope this feedback is useful.
