Hey guys I’ve just brought a valk xt7 it’s my first ebike and I have just started learning about tuning
The thing is I can not find any information about this bike
I can’t even find out what country it’s made in let alone what brand the motor is or how to take the speed restrictions off
Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated

So you bought an ebike without any previous research about it? Did you buy it used?

It looks to have a 250 watt hub motor and a 15 amp controller. What speed do you hope to achieve?

So I heard if I brought the same bike in New Zealand it would be restricted to 30km so if I could get another 5km out of it I would be happy

I would try to match the display up with it's brand, Bafang for instance, then look up the directions for programming that display.

This display does have some advanced parameters, max speed among them, but they tell you that setting will be over ridden by another someplace else.

Bottom line, you may be able to find something, but it's going to involve a lot of homework as the answer is not going to be generic. It's going to be about YOUR bike....
