Pedego grips and cycling gloves

A couple of weeks ago I got some cycling gloves. Great for safety and to keep out of the sun, but they slip all over the leather Pedego grips, and I was having to grip so hard to compensate that my hands were aching. So, today I replaced the Pedego grips with some Bontrager ones. Now my cycling gloves don't slip!

I wear gloves, partly for safety....if I go down, they will at least offer some protection for my hands. But a couple of times recently I have accidentally left my gloves at home and had to ride without them. I have to admit it feels good to ride without them, just as it feels free to ride without a helmet.

I also had the slipping problem with the OEM Pedego grips. Like ebikemom, I replaced them with a Bontrager set. I had great results using these on my Trek MTB so I ordered a pair for the Pedego Interceptor.

They are a bit pricey but the palm rests make a big difference in comfort. Well worth the cost IMO.

Thanks for sharing your grip choice! :) Here's what I got. They've got a bit of cushion and a nice grippiness. It was also interesting to learn that the "long" and "short" grips on the Pedego are standard lengths, so easy to replace with a different long/short grip set.
