Pace 350 owners

I am new to the forum and new to ebikes, and I am probably buying a Pace 350. I wanted to reach out to Pace 350 owners with some of my concerns.
I've been a casual bike rider my whole life but not so much in the last 4 or 5 years. I'm 63, 5'4", about 20 lbs overweight at 150 lbs. I need to lose that weight, I also live in an area with great greenways and bike trails. But the hills are challenging to me when I ride my old Giant hybrid.
How well does the Pace 350 do with hills, both climbing and braking on the way down? I live in central North Carolina but I'd also like to take it on some moderate trails in the mountains. Not looking to do anything single track, but potentially more hill than what I have in my area.
The price and weight of the 350 appeal to me, I'll be loading it on the car myself and also using a bike hoist for storage. I am pretty mechanical, so with the entry price, I'm not concerned about doing some upgrades as I go. Actually, I'm kind of looking forward to that. But there are 3 big ticket items on the bike that I won't mess with: the motor, the fork and the brakes. So my questions:
Have you stalled out on hills?
Are the mechanical brakes good enough?
Do you ever wish you had more power?
Are you sorry you don't have front suspension?
Thank you for your help!

I have had the Pace 350 for about a year with 500 miles put on it. I have had one major issue and a couple of minor issues as well. The motor a while back had a humming noise which was replaced because under warranty. I had a fall recently and bent the back rotor and had to replace it. The most annoying thing that I have had with the bike is the brake noise. It does not seem to go away with replacing the brake pads. I may try an organic rather than ceramic pads to see it that helps. I have also replaced the seatpost with the suspension seatpost and the saddle with a cloud 9 seat. The ride is much more comfortable than it was originally. I also live in Northern California and have found that I have been able to climb most hills with some difficulty. There are a few things that can be done with the bike to make hill climbing much easier. I hope this is helpful.
