I am a 55yo and out of shape. Well, I am in a shape; just not the one I'd like to be in.
I have these thoughts of using the eBike to replace a few car trips and get me more active. Get out on the local Rails to Trails options and get some exercise and get some fresh air.
After a couple months of research and taking a test drives, I pulled the trigger on a RadCity Step Thru 3 in black. Projection Is that it will ship in June.
Now I get to research accessories, but I will probably wait to do any upgrades until I have some time on the bike.
I will be picking up a rack so I won't have to keep pulling the front wheel off to pack in the back of my Prius. I'm having the bike delivered to a rental outfit that let me test drive for free. They get a stipend for my purchase, but having them do the initial setup lets me support them a bit more. They are 52 highway miles away, so I need a way to transport my new bike home. I sure like the look of the 1UP Single Super Duty or the Quickr Stuff version, but I am wary of how well the arms will hold the wheels with the fenders. And I'm not sure when either will be available. Any suggestions for a single or double rack for a step thru with fenders.
