I swapped out my WTB Trailblazer 650b 2.8 tire that has 1500 miles on it this a.m. to something quite a bit knobblier.
Not bad wear for 1500 miles and I am keeping it to put it back on next summer perhaps.....
650b 2.8 Vigilante. I am a fan of WTB tires and use them exclusively on my eMTB and eGravel bikes. Although this bike has CF rims I also use their rims to great effect.
During the time I had the TrailBlazer on there it has been run tubeless and never had a flat or the tire off the rim, but did add sealant several times when it would bleed some air between rides. Not sure how much I ended up with in there probably at least 6oz.'s but it made a strange looking tire liner that came off pretty easily.
The final product
Clearance is a little tighter due to the way more aggressive side knobs but the mud here is more runny than globby so should be ok. What brought this on was riding my friends new Giant with a fresh knobby and how it had better traction....this afternoon's ride should decide.
