I haven't ridden my mountain bike since I gave my Rockhopper away to my son in law 10 years ago. I save my knees for motorcycle dualsporting.
We live up on a hill. The paved streets are hills. The driveway is a steep hill (dirt).
I've was all ready to spend a couple-three grand on a decent road bike, strictly for fitness.
My riding buddy showed up on his Haibike Sduro 8.0 and insist I try it.
Down the driveay I went and 2 blocks and back. Peddling up our dirt road on a peddle bike would kill me.
My wife smiled and I Yahoo!'d as a zipped right up effortlessly...
I am SOLD!
Like my friend said, 'it's like cheating!'.
I think this is going to be good for me in general.
Cardio on 2 wheels without the joint stress and muscle strain.
Looking forward to this.
Probably going to end up with a demo 2018 Haibike Xduro 7.0 from the local shop.
