Retired my Specialized road bike and Purchased 2022 Vado 5 in June and had a great summer riding. Home base is Winnipeg home of the Jets but head South for the winter at the end of November. Vado will be transported on a Thule hitch mount so am wondering if anyone can advise if it’s okay to transport bike with battery attached. Temps will vary between freezing and 20-degrees Fahrenheit with possibilities of freezing rain and snow during the trip of 2300 miles. Reluctant to take battery out and leave cavity exposed.

Thnx muchI never transport with battery on bike. You could wrap over the cavity with plastic and secure with tape for the driving - that should keep everything clean and protected from the elements.
