I have purchased two 2020 pedego city communters in May, one hub and one mid drive . after riding the two of them 150 km I wish I had purchased two hub drives.
The mid drive lacks power on hills. My wife on the hub drive flies by me on the mid drive. We have very steep hills in my area in Nova Scotia,Canada Iam doing 18km/h while she is doing 28 km up these hills
I purchased the mid drive on the advice that it would be better on the hills. My wife is lighter than me so I figured we would be able to keep up to each other on the hills. lol not even close on the hills . Both bikes are very comfortable to ride.
I contacted the dealer and they tell me that the California office will contact me to discuss possible fixes but nothing yet.
