I'm an older guy just discovering e-bikes. I just purchased a bike similar to a Lectric or Engwe. Just completed my second ride - for a total of 12 miles now. 
I think this is going to make for a fun and healthy spring, summer, and fall.
I am finding I am enjoying watching, not the battery power, but the volts, and optimizing use.
