Hi, my name is Kathy. I live in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and own 2E bikes, a Towny and Aventon. I love to ride on the rails to trails paths in the area. We have beautiful trails. Is there anybody in the area who would like to join me on occasion?

It's nice to see that eBikes are forming a new kind of community.
I just got back from 6 month trip to Taiwan, as I come back home to a small town in Canada, I'm seeing so many new eBike riders here in the Maritimes as well as in the cities. The new laws in US are odd. Hope Canada doesn't mimick the US with these laws, although I know for a fact that Canada Post has many rules about batteries and especially how they are packaged for shipping.

I'm northeast of Scranton and occasionally get down your way to ride. The Lancaster River Trail, Enola Low Grade Trail, and Lebanon Valley Trail are all good rides. I used to do the Heritage Trail near York and the Torrey C Brown Trail down into Maryland, but they get testy about throttled e-bikes.

Anyway, welcome to the forum!

I love the Lancaster River Trail and in fact, I am writing it on Friday weather providing. I also really enjoy the Lebanon Valley Trail. I did the Enola low-grade once and enjoyed it very much, but it is very sunny. With the weather being the way it has this year, I have avoided it. Give a holler when you come down this way.

If you don't mind travelling a bit, the Lehigh Gorge Trail near Jim Thorpe and the Pine Creek Trail north of Williamsport are worth the ride. I did Lehigh yesterday. My favorite PA trail is the GAP south of Pittsburgh. It's arguably the best trail east of the Mississippi. It's a 4+ hour ride for me though, so I only get out that way 2 or 3 times a year.

Welcome, Kathy! It’s fantastic to see another avid traveler join the forum. I've been exploring the world for over ten years myself. My remote job with https://ukwritings.com/coursework-service has been a game changer, allowing me to visit 56 countries without needing to spend a fortune. It’s amazing how flexible work arrangements can open up so many opportunities for adventure. If you ever need tips on balancing travel with work or managing remote jobs while on the go, feel free to ask!
