I have been following this group for several months seeking info as I considered an ebike to replace my dust gathering non-assist. As I am now a happy owner, decided it was time to sign in. I tried others but kept being drawn back to the Trek Powerfly. I bought the powerfly5 15.5 women’s. I debated the FS7 but finally had to accept that I would never really be comfortable with the standover height. I am 5’3 (125 lbs) with long torso and short legs so fit was challenging. The saddle has enough adjustment in it that pushing it further towards the back of the seatpost lets me stand farther back where the standover height is lower. A small 1/2 inch adjustment makes a big difference. The Trek dealer in Kansas City was wonderful. I visited three times before finally going home with my new Ebike this weekend. They spent a lot of time with me making sure I was happy with the choice and a properly adjusted fit.

Loving my new bike. A whopping (lol) 28 miles on it the first two days. And, of course, I got my first “that’s cheating” comment on my first ride. Yup! Delighted to be cheating instead of joining the couch potatoes. Just ordered a T shirt- real women ride bikes in their 70’s.
