Next Monday is release date. Hundreds of excited rumours floating around online so thought it would be fun to open a thread on this release here. For kicks and popcorn as for the record I'm not in the market for a new bike but I do love watching a big bike launch all the fuss all the reviews, YouTubers wetting themselves and so on. Also shows the difference in launch parties between the new Vado SL - barely anything! - and this shiny emtb - clear to see where the big bucks lie! Spesh have a lot riding on this apparently in a new DJi lead world.

I could have ridden to see the new S-Works demonstration on the coming Tuesday but I have different plans.
The two different motors is a big surprise!

would be interesting to ride those DU's, if they are as smooth as the avinox...

Once, I took a photo of several road bikes at Specialized Warsaw. When posting it on my FB, I jokingly asked my friends: 'Which one should I choose?' to get an immediate answer:
-- Buy S-Works!
:D

One rumour you might be interested in that is causing a lot of discussion on the EMTB boards is that the battery compartment will be side opening and with different sized batteries that can be swapped in and out including an 800wh, but also the idea being rumoured is that the range extender will also fit inside this battery cavity, leaving bottle cage free for water! Only a rumour but a pretty cool idea if true.

I'm lucky Ras as I am not into the mountain biking, so the new Levo remains the matter of technical interest for me only!

Except if as often happens, tech developments in the mtb arena eventually comes to other bikes (disk brakes, 1x etc) Having interchange batteries and range extender all in down tube is a pretty neat and tidy idea. Gives options for different day's rides. I'm not going to be buying a full sus mountain bike but a trekking version with battery options would be interesting for me.

It is all true but I do not expect the e-bikes of the type of my interest available in the near future after the Vado SL 2 has been premiered.
