New Cheetah Rider

Clueless

Hi.., I bought my first ever bicycle a year ago it happened to be an E-Cell AWD dual motor dual battery dual suspension fat tire beauty that in the last year I rode for about 3000 kms but.... my eye kept wandering over to the Cheetah. I like the look of the Wicked Thumb Cheetah the most and thought that it’s pricing after all is said and done was a good deal especially because I wanted a suspension fork which Wicked has for an extra 350$.A few weeks ago on this forum a member Mr.Miragi posted about a mid-drive Cheetah which I looked into and I found that the seller(greenpowerstuff) had a 750 watt bafang hub motor model that I looked into and purchased today, I should receive it in the next few weeks and then I will be able to report back with photos and my opinion on this particular Cheetah.
I bought it because it has three very important and upgraded features most other Cheetahs don’t have-
1– 9 speed shimano gear set with trigger shifter
2- 203 brake rotors front & back
3- front suspension fork
3a- rear brake light activated when braking
3b-electric horn
3c- road tires and knobby off road tires supplied
Bike comes with mirrors fenders rear rack cell phone cradle 17.5 ah battery .
The two most important features are the suspension forks and the 9 speed transmission. As others on this forum have upped their chain rings because of pedaling air I thought the 9 speed with an 11/36 ratio and a 9 Pas controller would help the bike compared to the Revi Bikes 7 speed transmission.
Hope it arrives in one piece travelling to Canada fingers crossed, will update as soon as I receive it.

My apologies for my incorrect spelling of Mr Miyagi forum name

Miyagi-San says "No apologies necessary"
I hate calling you by you’re “Forum name” but Congrats man!!

We’re so happy for you. I’m sure you’ll be happy with the extras offered on this mid-drive dream-sikle! Although Wicked Thumb sells a very cool looking bike, your choice should
be all that and more. Be sure to let us all know how the 9-speed is and with the big brake added, it should stop as well as it goes. Also curious to see if those front forks smooth
out the bumps too!

Happy New Year and ride safe...
Sir.... I bought the 750 hub drive for the simplicity and reliability.
Yes I look forward to staying here and will review this bike thoroughly.
Cheers

only 3 more sleeps
My Cheetah has crossed the border into Canada today ,almost home
Soon I’ll be unboxing it

Well lookie lookie
Got it two sleeps early, box was beaten up but the bike is good no paint damage, rear fender was mounted front fender really easy to attach and solid. Its really got 203mm rotors during my slow and brief test ride it shifted well. Looks like the rear light is just a light without brake function but I’m glad to have it. Really like the left hand thumb throttle. The front suspension compresses nicely but I will need to test it much more, sure looks nice though.I installed my suspension seat post and I found the bike to be really comfortable. It feels much lighter than my AWD E-Cells but not on paper.
Nothing was loose or crooked and nothing was missing but I’m still waiting for the rear rack to arrive so all in all I am grateful to have no damage. I want beige wall tires or white walls. Can’t wait to ride this puppy
Cheers

Congrats man! Geeezzz! It looks cold where you ride! May your new Cheetah give you plenty of fun times.
Love the suspension front fork too!

So today I received my rear rack and the industrial cell phone holder making my purchase 100% as advertised. The rear rack wasn’t a perfect fit because of the 203 mm brake system I had to shim the rack off the frame slightly and then mount the rear light and cleanly route the wire, ...nice.
Went for a 10 mile ride during light snow with the knobby tires on the back country dirt roads had the rear light on and the front light on low and I blew the horn a few times temp was -6 c. Battery was not 100% but I dropped one bar on the battery gauge which means I will probably get 50 miles per charge in summer.
I find the bike feels so light compared to my dual motor dual battery fat tyre bike,

really loving this bike so comfy.
So I had to modify something and something was to cut down the seat tube by 1.75 inches just to lower my seat, the suspension post raises the seat by some 3 inches and I just wanted to improve the look of the resting bike and because of that I was able to lower the bars to get that cool look.
Couple of photos
Also lubed the chain
Photo of seat post shim
New rear light is toggled off /on via key pad

ooh ooh I forgot, I normally like to ride at 12/14 mph and to have a slight feeling of working the legs I used Pas 3 of 9 and gear 5/6 went up to Pas 4 and a down shift for the hilly parts. Not sure yet but I think all will be good regarding windmilling with the 9 speed

Did it again today this time 30 km
This is a really enjoyable bike
Just riding quiet hard packed dirt roads
