I have some new Bosch Performance Line CX motors, zero miles.
These are the latest ones for the small sprocket, MY20.
Great as upgrade or replacement for any Performance Line or Active Line (2014-2018) that come with the small sprocket.
They have all the features like
  • Walk assist
  • eMTB mode possible
  • Dual Battery possible
  • 6V or 12V light output
  • 75Nm torque
$450
For details regarding installation or configuration etc., just send me a PM

"These are the latest ones for the small sprocket" Those would not be the latest Bosch motors.

@rich c Just read it right.
The latest ones FOR the small sprocket.
There were several different versions for the small sprocket.
<MY17 without walk assist etc
and so on

That's why I added all the information like Gen2 and 2014 - 2018

That motor actually is a MY20 (still Gen2), which means it has all improved updates like the 12V etc.

if I had some spare money I would grab one. it would be a little improvement over the performance motor on our tandem. but the 4th gen would be the way to go.

The Gen4 does not fit on your Tandem.
But yes, that would be some improvement with more torque.

Someone with the same tandem Said they updated to the gen 4 cx motor. so the mounting holes are different fro the performance motor and the gen 4 cx but maybe they misunderstood what I asked them. going from 63nm to 85 would be a big improvement on climbing on the tandem.

Would this replace an active line plus motor?
Not this one, but I also have Gen3 in a different post

If you are running 63nm motor with small sprocket then these gen 2 CX 75nm motors may fit. Worth doing more research. Wildtrak should be able to give you a rough sketch of mounting bolt pattern with measurements if can't find anything on web.

@TrevorB It is not only a matter of the bolt pattern.
Also the chain stays. If they are too low, they are in the way of the chain.
