New battery

Hi
I have just acquired a 2014 Volt pulse. It is literally new and has never been ridden. The issue is the battery is clearly and understandably done but I dont know where to get a new one. It is my first electric bike and I wanted to give it my wife for Christmas. Any suggestions for battery replacement would be great.
