Went on my maiden voyage after getting used to this contraption. I am down to 2 mc from a high of 8 running and tagged. I am getting weary and leery of motorcycles as I get older, and the threats inherent, and thought I'd give this a go. Seemed like a natural (of sorts) transition to the Ariel as far as fit and feel go, and a slightly used model came up nearby, so......
Here is what's left of the MC's

We are located near paths, bike lanes, and trails here, and a couple of hours each way to either beaches or mountains. I have a daughter in the DC area, and that's always a very cool place to ride. I'm looking forward to hooking up on events. Seems like a pretty good group that ride ebikes.......

Nice rides! I quit riding motorcycles about the time everyone got the internet in their hand. Never stopped riding pushbikes, but the ebike fills the gap nicely. I miss canyon carving, but the ebike kinda makes up for that. Kinda :)

I am an old biker and started riding Enduros when I was 15, then street bikes and owned a Harley for awhile but after 3 knee surgeries and back problems I couldn't ride the heavier motorcycles and a pedal bike was out of the question so I thought my riding days were over.

Then I got turned on to ebikes and after trying a few different models I got the Ariel X 52 volt because it has the look and feel of an Enduro or cafe racer and enough speed for my long supply runs or adventuring off road.

I have been very pleased with the Ariel X and built stronger than most ebikes with good suspension for old butts and a good choice for former or current motorcycle riders plus it has enough power to take along my dogs in the trailer and not drag ass going up steep hills.

X-Class was designed to be a fast e-bike from day 1.
Thanks to a 52V battery system with a massive 35A controller, X-Class 52V is faster and more powerful than ever.

And now comes with a whopping 20Ah battery, upgraded headlights with daylight function, turn signals, brake lights, upgraded shocks
and much more...

Comparison: Juiced HyperScrambler 2, Ariel Rider Grizzly, Monday Anza and Super73 RX

Speed

When it comes to top speeds of four fast e-bikes, Ariel Rider’s Grizzly comes with a top speed of 36 mph, compared to 30.8 mph of Juiced HyperScrambler 2, 30 mph of Super73 RX and 20.8 of Monday Anza. Ariel Rider’s Grizzly is an absolute winner here thanks to its two 1000W hub motors. The Grizzly is putting down 40% more power than the Super73 RX, and twice as much as the HyperScrambler 2.

By means of acceleration, the ranking doesn’t change: Again, Grizzly comes first with 8.8 seconds, followed by Juiced HyperScrambler 2 with 9.6, Super73 RX with 10.8 and Monday Anza with 11.3 seconds to reach their top speed.

As head tech for Honda late 70's 80's, The CBX was 20 yrs ahead of it's time with shim bucket 4 valve heads. The only car with 4 valve heads was the late 60's Alfa Romeo. Direct contact cam to valves. No rockers.
This guy had very advanced rear suspension as well. We built a couple of the 79' versions to all out turbo drag bikes with ten inch wide slick with the first development of all electronic airshifting still used today.
When it hit 3rd gear, that's when I pretty much panicked, hitting kill switch as body is about to be peeled off at over 100 mph. It won events all over the US. You are quite lucky to have one. The sound alone is epic.
Cheers

I kept the stock exhaust on it, because I know I'd either end up in jail or the morgue with anything else. I'd also be known as an annoyance everywhere I went. Here is what I'd be doing at every opportunity:

How about a picture or video of you riding that Ariel X ebike?

I like motorcycles and have rode them all my life but you made this post about the Ariel X and instead are posting about your motorcycles.

I ride an Ariel X 52volt and love it and would like to see your Ariel X and any other riders that like that style of ebikes pics.

If you believe your illegal contraption named Ariel X is safer from your excellent motorbikes then you are very, very wrong.
That was pretty much uncalled for. Why would you say something like that instead of just scrolling on by? Do you really think that's constructive?

It is but you specifically mentioned the Ariel X but only post pics of your motorcycles.

People considering an ebike will expect to discuss that ebike and not motorcycles.

Welcome to the forum and hope to see pics of your ebike and videos of your ebike rides!

Has your ebike aver won any award?

See above.

You are always bashing on other ebikes here but I don't see anything at all special about that slow ebike you ride or the rider?

Why are you always attacking new members and trying to drive them away from EBR?

Something the Mods need to be aware of!
I am a political activist, so I am very used to those tactics used by certain people... LOL
I appreciate your input, though.
