In a recent podcast interview Yamaha power assist bikes explained how they got involved with a motorcycle show, the idea is for visitors who may never have ridden a motorcycle before to ride an ebike around a test track to demonstrate they could handle a bike before they could test ride a motorcycle.

It's the best of both worlds and the manufacturers would be wise to bring eBikes into moto shows as the crossover potential is huge. I know I traded in my moto lifestyle which I found not as fulfilling as my cycling lifestyle for an eBike!
