Since most of us are either commuting or thinking about commuting with our Ebikes I thought I'd share one of my best accessory purchases!

I ordered this not too long ago and let me tell you (other than being expensive and a bit more hipster than I try to be) it is an unbelievably tough bag! Waterproof and easy to wear among lots of other features. Here's what they say about it:

The AP Series Sanction rucksack features the Arkiv® closure system and is made with a 1000 denier VX Cordura ripstop shell backed with a PET waterproof membrane. In addition, the Sanction is lined with a lightweight urethane coated ripstop liner. All of which resulting in an exceptionally durable and beautifully constructed barrier to the elements.

The AP Sanction also features YKK urethane coated zippers, waterproof materials, an internal frame sheet and an optional waist belt. A large zippered pocket fits laptop computers such as the 15in MacBook Pro, 13in MacBook Air, or iPad. Five other pockets and compartments round out this versatile pack. Made in the USA with a lifetime warranty.

If your planning on packing a lot of anything for your daily commute this bag is the best!!

That's awesome! Love the "Made in the USA" tag there too... The style is good, it looks durable without looking like a plastic tank or something. I like the colors and the waterproof membrane. You might have seen this post a while back, I've been using a Timbuk2 messenger bag (I prefer the ones with two straps like your Mission Workshop one, just easier on my shoulders).

Yours is lighter colored than mine which is probably better for safety, I ended up using these super long dangly reflector things (and haven't been hit by a car yet!) but lights on bags and helmets are also a good idea ;)

Hey court,

I was just looking for some cheap led's or something that could put some light higher up on my when I'm rolling in the dark. I have a rear light, but I did want something up higher. I haven't found anything that doesn't look lame though. Once again I'll sacrifice safety for my vanity!!

Have you ever seen these lightup LED flags for bicycles? The Outrider recumbent ebikes use them and I found a picture online but nowhere that sells them. There's a smaller one on Amazon that attaches to a rear rack and sticks out sideways by M-Wave called the LED Safety Flag in neon yellow. For under $25 this thing looks pretty awesome! A bit dorky yes, but safe for sure :D

Unfortunately, it looks like this flag only has a single LED on the tip of the pole. I'm also trying to figure out where the batteries go? Still, one light is better than none and you can see there's a little spring to keep the pole from breaking. If you paired one of those with some matching fluorescent yellow ankle straps you'd be accessorized and safe!
