It took me over a year to find 1/4" balls for my shimano rear that came unscrewed. Niagaracycle had them in bags of 100, but they are out of business now. I had to wade through 15 pages of hardware to get them to show up, too. Hope your LBS is helpful. Front should be easier, there are lots of junk bikes with front wheels.
THe blue locktite for axle nuts, last week let the axle nuts came unscrewed on the power wheel. **** I wish there was room on the axle for a second lock nut. Good I had torque arms to keep it from wandering too far and jamming the brake rotor.
