I'm resigned at the moment to just settle for a phone on my handlebars as OsmAnd+ can do a lot of my mapping requirements in Australia. The base maps aren't great, it does chew up battery but i can load external maps (i have all kinds of Topographical maps for Oz) on it. You can overlay/underlay different maps over the top of the base OpenStreet maps, has nice logging facilities, etc. Also use RidewithGPS.
I would like to use a Nyon but - It's not supported in Oz and may void my warranty and i'm not sure of any formats or if it can show external maps. It would free up some handlebar space though!
Cobi would be brilliant also but it's even harder to obtain here in Oz.
Kiox is not available as a retro-fit nor has mapping.
Anyone have any better solutions in Oz or have success with Nyon in Oz regarding mapping?
