M1 Erzburg, Secede, and Sedan Carbon Fiber Electric Bikes

That first bike is a sick looking bike. I like the fact it has quick release on the rear so you can swap out to a regular bike (why would you want to??) not only that, but to change a flat on a rear hub sucks the big one, so making it easy to get off might help a bit!

I am suppressing the inner child in me that wants to fall on the floor kicking and screaming, " I want one! I want one! I really, really want one bad!"

In the back of my mind I have been eyeing those fancy mid-drive mountain bikes, but I really like the idea that you can ditch the battery and change the rear rim and it is an awesome regular mountain bike as well. BUT like James says, "Why would you want to?"

Right now, Pete's electric bike in CO is the only place to carry these. I am working with another retailer to make this available to people in the east cost.

Here is some information on the M1 Erzberg S-Pedelec: This is with Shimano XT and FOX Float Fork. It is $7995. We can do this with Shimano SLX and SRSuntour fork for $5795. This comes in Med (46cm BB to top of seat tube) and large (51 cm BB to top of seat tube). This bike weighs 21Kg

These bikes are sweet! I'm planning to spend some time with them once I'm back in CO (home of Pete's Electric Bikes) but it was neat to take a quick look at the "Charged Up" media event where Pete Prebus got that footage. He and I rode up together from Philadelphia and had a great time! Glad he got some footage and spoke with the carbon fiber guy, he was really knowledgeable.
