Looking for Long Range Ebike with Integrated Batteries

Have set my sights on the Reis & Muller SuperCharger HS with Rohloff E-14. I know Stromer is an option, but I would like some off road capability. Primary use is 28 mile commute each way. I'm 6'1, 240lbs. Any ideas for long range bikes with integrated batteries? So many brands out there, I'm afraid I may be missing some other choices. I really like the integrated look rather than big block batteries (and I live in NYC where I would prefer for my bike to be stealthy to avoid tickets).

Silo …
My bet is on Riese & Müller's bringing out the Delite with integrated batteries for 2020. Maybe, it'll be worth waiting until July to find out.

Another "stealthy" option to consider are bikes with rear rack batteries. They can easily be concealed with rack bags and / or panniers which most commuters use anyway. The Riese & Muller Culture & Swing are two such models although they lack the off road qualities you're looking for.

Concealing a rear rack battery for stealth instead of an integrated downtube opens up your search to many other models. Longer range can be achieved by carrying a spare battery which is easily done with a rear rack.

Do you have a budget? How “off road” are your needs? My Specialized Vado 6.0 has fantastic range. On eco it could go 80-100 miles, which is probably longer range than my legs ?. I’m around 135 lbs. I have taken it on “light “ off road. I don’t do single track riding and this bike would not be a good fit for that. It doesn’t have the big block battery look and it has front shocks, although they are simple spring ones.
That’s quite an impressive commute and perfect fit for an ebike. Looking forward to to seeing whatever bike you choose.

Thanks! That is a really good idea, I'm surprised that didn't occur to me. :) I will keep this in mind as a I continue my search.

Thanks, yes I had my eye on that model, but not sure if can manage my commute, especially as I'm a big guy - 110 pounds more than you. My budget is 10k (but would obviously prefer less). Thanks for the suggestion.

The weight distribution of a rack-mounted battery is not good for handling, if you're considering off roading. I know you're considering it for stealthiness, but I would recommend against it.

Between those two options, I think the Stromer (ST5?) is more "stealthy"

The R&M does NOT look like a normal bike because of Bosch mid drive is well exposed and has non-conventional looking frame which inevitably will attract more attention.

If you're saying the R&M has more off road capability because of front fork, isn't it really easy to replace?
Stromer looks so cool, but with an add on fork, I think I'm at $11k plus which is too rich for my blood. I hear you that R&M is not too stealthy, and with sound of motor, I will not really be fooling anyone, but I suppose I just like the I integrated look better. Also with recent recall of ST5, I'm a little nervous about further issues. But best looking bike I've seen.
