, it does not appear that sealant would help much, as it is on the inside of the circumference - it didnt have much in it, and it probably wont make it to seal a perforation on the inside; the natural rotation will make it more functional for a puncture on the tire side.
Yep, it had tape from the factory and it appeared to be intact with no signs of corruption.
