Standard bicycle trailers come with "hitch" attached with the left axle bolt. Then the trailer tongue attaches to the hitch for easy removal. Since the power cord comes out the right side, it's not going to interfere with installation.

Bought two of these last January for just under $100 at Amazon, they're a bit more now, but very light and excellent. Can be used as a doggie carrier (flat floor, just throw in a blanket) or 2-child stroller (bench seating). They attach through a short post that bolts on to the left axle of our XP 2.0 st bikes; very clean and easy to attach. They can be collapsed down, but not quickly.
