Introduction

Hello Everyone, I just purchased a used Big Cat Beach Cruiser XL. It had only 10 miles on it. I was very excited to go for my first ride. My wife and a couple friends rented bikes and I had my Big Cat. We started on our ride and everything was going great. We were all having a lot of fun. It was great getting used to my new bike. At around 12 miles into the ride and my bike went dead. I turned the key off and back on. Checked the battery and it was fully charged. I started to ride again and it went dead after a few feet. Needless to say my ride was done for the day.

I have been trying to find what is wrong. I checked battery voltage and it is 51volts. I checked the connections and seemed good. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thank You

Hi Joe P, welcome and I hope with only 10 miles on the bike that it would be under warranty. Worse comes to worse, if you can’t get help here, then you can contact a local dealer to help you out. Good luck.
