I've been having issue after issue with this bike and I've only had it maybe a week! My last ebike was a juiced commuter which is still up and running but I wanted something faster. So I purchased the Bikonit md750, thinking with the 2 batteries I could ride farther and faster with this mid Drive motor! Smh at the unboxing and charging the batteries I found out that the front hydraulic disc brake is bent! Then after writing it and hitting the brakes it makes a horrible sound! Not to mention the bike only goes 20mph and at the moment there's no way to unlock the speed limiter! So after researching and seeing that this is an ongoing issue with this particular motor I decided it'll be okay it'll eventually come to light on how to unrestrict the bike. Third Day riding and the chain breaks after researching the different companies it seems that the chain is from kmc which seems to be a good company! So I'm assuming with all that power I may need to upgrade to a different chain. But luckily I had a friend with me and I walked the bike almost an hour and a half and he went to the nearest bike shop to get a replacement chain to put on the bike! After having my juice bite for almost a year and a half now I haven't had as near as many issues as I've had with this bike in little under a week. So long story short I'm looking for advice because sending the bike back I would lose possibly $1,000 or if I can find a way to unlock it and figure out why the motor clicks when changing gears then I could deal with it possibly. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful

Some question to help with your problem, I also have a Bikonit MD 750,
and just love it for my off road trail riding bike.

When did you buy this bike, what year?
Do you know which type of motor protocol you have?
You can figure out the motor protocol via the information that is stamped on the bottom of the motor/controller cases.

Please post this info and the protocol of the motor can be determined,
if your bike is the Canbus protocol, only the bikes seller can unlock the speed,
and wheel size, set the wheel size to 30.5" diameter for correct reading for the mph..

The Ultra motor is very powerful and will break chains if the proper gear selections are not use correctly.

Here is the main section on the Bikonit bike,
lots of good info on this bike is here,
so start reading and pop a top of a cool one or grab a hot cup of Jo.

I just got the bike last week and it's a canbus motor. I'm waiting on response from bafang now.

It's it possible to change to a cadence sensor? Would I have to replace controllers? And or what would I need to do?
