Any updates on the shipping of the Hydra? Are we still on track for the end of December?

Yes I’m impatient, hoping to get the bike and get some ride time in before it gets too cold.

So more like the end of January?
Delays happen, not a big deal. Especially in this COVID 19 atmosphere. Lots of manufacturers are having shipping delays.

I’m assuming my bike is part of the first batch but I’m not sure. I’m ok with the end of Januar, most bike manufacturers are experiencing delays due to Covid and demand reasons.

first batch of Frames are estimated to get here mid-jan (barring any other delays) so we will build and ship them out as soon as we can.

Sounds good, no worries. Try buying a new Sondors Rockstar bike, wait time for the bike is now up to six months. Yikes!!!

I can see why it is late. I have worked with the factory for the Sondors bikes.
Just an anecdote I heard from a major supplier (this was in October) and they said place an order for parts today and they promise to deliver in April 2022 ! ha! Its not just shipping in the background but a lot of components too.

Another thing to note is frame raw materials - the pre-bake stuff needed for Carbon. I was purchasing that from the supplier back in August and they were backordered too. Basically factories don't have enough stuff ... in order to make stuff... ! Unreal.

We have purchased most of our inventory earlier and are assembling locally so it is a tad easier. However if people are getting pre-built bikes from Asia - its going to be a tough couple of quarters atleast.

Sondors has pushed back delivery dates multiple times now. I know of several friends that are canceling because of this.
Please keep us posted of any updates and expected delivery dates.

The frame production began last week but I don’t know the ETA to finish this lot and ship.
I haven’t heard the shipping ETA yet. Still checking. It’s typically 2-3 weeks from the time production starts so I expect it to be around that time frame.

I’ll post as soon as I have an update.

Ok, I’ll stop pestering about it. Probably safe to say you won’t have the frames until after the new year which is completely understandable.

I will try my best to get the updates as soon as I have them.
