High pressure rim tape.

What size rim tape should I get that will properly fit the stock CC wheels? I know the 700C part, but wondering on the width. I'm seeing ranges of 14-22 mm offered from schwalbe.

I just got 700x22 Schwalbe liners after having second thoughts about the Ritchy 17mm liner I had installed in place of some fabric liners. Here's how they fit in a new free state. Pretty much wall to wall, but I'm sure they'll retract a little once the inner tube pushes them into the center channel & spoke holes. One nice thing about these plastic liners it that they won't get soaked like fabric because double wall rims are good at collecting water.

youth, I'm interested to hear how that works out for you. I see a sharp edge on one side of that rim strip so hopefully that doesn't cause any problems. I know how frustrating it can be to have a persistent problem like the mysterious flats you have been dealing with. Here are some pictures of the stock rim strip on my Shimano RS-501 wheels for comparison.

The edges on the schwalbe liner don't feel sharp to me. The material feels like soft vinyl. No issues on first use today with the conti tube & new schwalbe tire. I'm feeling somewhat confident that this may be the last of these inner tube inside diameter flats.
