Hi All im Doug im originally from Bonnie Dundee in Scotland but now living in Sunny Spain
because i suffer from poor circulation in both my legs i bought myself a mobility Scooter
& was trying to keep myself legal as its a Green Power Unique 500 watt Retro Electric scooter
but due to the vast amount of electric scooters etc all on the roads with kids as young as 12
riding them without helmets or insurance etc i tried to check with the local police to get
clarification that i was legal but it was not forthcoming so i asked on here but ive finally found
out that its totally legal for Adults to ride without a licence or insurance as in the UK there
restricted to 4MPH on the pavement & 8MPH on the rd but in the EU its legal to ride them up
to 25KPH on the rd as long as there under 1000 watt . This the new chinese type scooter with
3 wheels & 2 seats & front & rear brakes & lights & indicators & horns & alarm. see pictures
