Hi all,

Just joined after ordering an Orbea Gain M30 2019 model. Deliver expected next week so am a tad excited.

Live in Wales, UK. Ordered through my LBS direct with Orbea. So hope that delivery from Spain happens quickly.

Reasons for purchase, I cycle with a local club - Cardiff Ajax but knees on their way out esp the right so looking for help on the climbs. Also HR, trying to prevent it going well above estimated max. Also have Kuota carbon bike for longer flatter rides.

Welcome to the site. Hope your new bike meets your expectations.
I find my knees allow me to walk better if I ride unpowered at least 25 miles per week. I have no cartlege in them. However, I bought electric assist to keep my ride length down to 4 hours when the winds of October come in September & April due to climate change.

It's here and I've done 70 miles on it so far. Utterly amazing ride. Surpassed my expectations. Did a 66 mile club ride today, 15.8 mph ave speed, 3200 ft climbing. Still had 63%'battery charge left.

AJ, gotta tell ya. You just keep on learning about this bike, everytime you take it for a ride. There's only one thing, I still haven't got used to though? The weight of the back end compared to my sub 14lb Trek, everytime I take it down my garden steps. However apart from the steepest of climbs, it's not noticeable out on the road. Enjoy.
