Found this site looking to see if anyone had figured out where to mount a U-Lock on their RadRover. Didn't find whatI was looking for, but found out a lot about locks and how most of them are worthless.
Anyway, got my RadRover last July. I use it more for fun than commute. I am a handyman and it just will not haul the lumber and tools necessary for the job. I did also find out how to make it go a little faster. So already I am grateful to be a member.

After a few months of riding and keeping the task in the back of my mind and a determination to find a great place to mount the u-lock, I succeeded! I was tired of it stabbing me in the back when I carried it in my backpack. I have attached a few pictures to depict where I mounted it. It is out of the way, easy to get to the key hole and will not fall on your toe when the lock bar is removed.

I look forward to participating in the forum by learning and sharing.

Locks: not so much useless as limited. The same thing can be said of safes, which have the advantage of not being carried around on human-powered vehicles. In any case, great solution to your problem, and welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the Forum! Yes, this guy is very clever. Thanks for sharing. I may be challenged with lock placement as well once my U-lock arrives via Fed-Ex. Waiting patiently. Purchased the OnGuard based partly on the Lock Picking Lawyer's recommendation.;)
