I purchased the Add Motor M360 beach cruiser w/750 front hub motor. It arrived 3 weeks ago. Assembly was fairly easy. We live in Blacksburg va. which has a nice range of terrain. I coast downhill into town 1.3 miles then peddle around with level one peddle assist in 3 rd to 5th gear. The hand throttle comes into play on a few steep upgrrades, but mostly I just peddle harder. On the way back up the mountain for home I switch to level 2 peddle assist. The extra power is nice when I need to cross a busy street, or use a short stretch of road where traffic is heavy. This bike gets 19 to 20 mph at full throttle. My longest ride to date is 21 miles. I got home with 2 bars still left on the battery charge. Yesterday I noticed a drag and loud humming sound when starting out at low speed. The front wheel alignment seems to be the culprit. I'm having trouble getting it trued. any hints will be appreciated.
oh,. and I built a stand to hold front wheel off the ground, I'll post a picture or video soon. Happy to be back on the trails @ 73.

Welcome to the site.
Be sure to release the disk brake caliper before adjusting wheel position. Then retighten afterwards. When you get the front wheel straight, I double nut the motor to keep the shaft from walking around and getting out of alignment. The 10mmx15 mm white rectangle control connectors, you can pop the pins out with a pick to get the second nut on and then reinsert. Draw the colors before removal to get it right, of course. My mac motor the wires don't go through the nut. The hub motors I've seen use a 14 mm nut, but the cheap ones don't use 1.5 or 2 mm/thread either, they use 1.75 mm. Which is nearly impossible to find. M14 x 1.5 and 2 thread you can find at farm stores, but the 1.75 I found at a motorcycle shop once, but when they changed owners they threw all the unprofitable trash away.
You counter torque nuts to lock them together. Takes two wrenches. Don't torque over 30 ft lb, the threads on cheap motors are rather weak.

When you say that the front wheel alignment is an issue, are you referring to the wheel not being securely mounted in the fork drops, or to the rim having a bit of 'wobble' when it spins?
