Found this site while looking for a ebike, I’m a 59 year old male looking at a way to get back into riding and shape due to my disabilities that will not let me ride my Raleigh or Jasmin anymore. Looking forward to reading and learning new things.

Just a update, my Himiway Cruiser was delivered the other day (July 28th)and I got it assembled and put on a couple little add on’s on it like a cell phone frame pouch, left mirror and one of those handle bar extensions that bolts onto the regular handle bars then I moved the L.E.D up onto that and put a cheep electric horn on it that broke right away so I had to use rubber bands to hold it on, I then set it on level 3 and I can peddle a steady 18mph with no problems, I have not really tried it on 4 or 5 yet but I’m sure it will cruise just fine at those levels, I did use the throttle on setting 3 and it cruised at a steady 22mph and then I went and changed the max speed but have not tried it since, I did find it a bit different then my Jasmin and Raleigh in that it steered differently due to the fat tires and the big weight difference and also the sitting position is quit different then a normal bicycle and with that said I feel I should of went with the step thru as it would be easier to get on and off with my disability but as of now the Cruiser will be just fine and can’t wait to take it for a real ride.

I should add that I gave that rear rack bag to my son and I’m going with just side panners on the rack, think it will look much better and give me a bit more storage room.
