Bought a 2020 Vitus MACH E in September 2022 and been equipping it to my liking ever since.
Grew up in a cycling family in SW Surrey but dropped the activity once thru school. Moved to US in '76 and lived there for 30 years or so. Been getting used to cycling again in retirement and Wales is lovely for the narrow low traffic lanes and cycle paths.

Thanks for the recommendation. I mostly use the OS map app on my phone but a little reading is a good idea.

Bought a copy and have read a couple of the route guides already. I'm sure I'll follow one of the routes soon

Bucks, eh? Used to live in Chesham a few years ago before heading to California for a few years working in the Bay Area. Now on Wales west coast near Aberaeron.

Thought about studying at Aberystwyth but went to Sheffield instead. My wife and I did travel to St David’s 20 years ago. West Wales has some spectacular scenery, the view around Carreg Cennen Castle, St Govans chapel tucked away down a cliff.

Been out for a day ride or two recently mostly exploring the Ystwyth valley around the Hafan Estate near Pont-Rhyd-y=Groes. Heres a recent pic...
